その後、英会話スクールの教室長、そして誰もが知っている大手英会話スクールの本部勤務を経て、日本の英語教育の「大きな問題点」に気付く。
2017年、脚本賞を受賞した「もしも高校四年生があったら、英語を話せるようになるか」を幻冬舎より出版（重版4回達成）特に「英語に失敗した大人世代」から大きな共感を得る。
現在は一般企業で英語を使って働きながら、Instagramを通し、学び方について発信中。その他にも講演会の実施やテレビ出演など。
